Rather than working on buildings like the masons of old, today’s Freemasons focus on building themselves as people of integrity, and membership provides the structure to help achieve that goal.
Freemasonry is not defined by an ideology. It is open to people from all religions and political persuasions and provides the common foundation for friendships between members, many of which will last for life.
With a membership of more than 25,000 people across India, Freemasonry brings people together irrespective of their race, religion or any other perceived differences that can divide us as a society
Kindness and charitable giving are deeply ingrained within the principles of Freemasonry. We provide a support structure that helps members make positive contributions to communities and worthwhile causes.
Be Not Just a Man

The Order of Service to Masonry (OSM) is the highest honor conferred by the Grand Master, to recognize exceptional, personal service to the Craft.
It is a personal gift of the Grand Master, and recognizes outstanding, long-term service to Freemasonry beyond typical officer duties.
Holders are entitled to place the letters OSM after their names, preceding other Masonic ranks.
The most recent receipient was R.W.Bro.T N Manoharan on 21-09-2024
Established in the year 1999; the premise on which the scheme was started is as follows:-If MW the Grand Master were to knock at the door of a Brother and ask for contribution to Charity, he would certainly have given at least one rupee as contribution. If MW the Grand Master called on every brother in the country on each of the 365 days of a year, he would surely collect Rs.365 from each one of them. Thus, the Grand Master’s Rupee Club came into existence with an exhortation to the Brethren to contribute Charity of at least Rs.365 per year to this Fund.
A Master Mason may join a Royal Arch Chapter four weeks after being Raised. It is the natural and traditional next step in Freemasonry.
Long ago, the Royal Arch degree would have been worked in the Craft Lodge. For many years following the reorganization of Freemasonry alter the Union of the Grand Lodges in England in the year 1813, the Supreme Order of the Holy Royal Arch was stated to be the completion of the Third Degree.
It is now said to be the completion of Craft Masonry.
